Advocacy Project

This digital piece was done on Procreate, though I brought in many scanned paper, fabric, and cardboard textures to give the piece a bit of a traditional aesthetic. I was tasked with creating an advocacy project, and I chose to create an illustration to honour and celebrate my Indigenous culture. 

I pulled cultural aspects from my own reserve as well as personal experience to bring this artwork together- both celebrating my culture and talking about reconnecting with this part of my life.
