Who am I?

Hello! My name is Sophie Riches. I'm an Indigenous-Canadian artist from Brantford, Ontario. For as long as I can remember, making art has been my biggest passion in life. I love creating colourful, quirky, and delightfully fun illustrations. I also love to make characters and give them whimsical narratives to live within! 

My work is playful and expressive, with a focus on texture and character illustration. When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my pets, making cold brew coffee, playing my favourite video games, and watching documentaries!

I've earned an Advanced Diploma in Visual and Creative Arts from Sheridan College, and I'm currently studying in my third year of Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Illustration program.
