Hello!
Sophie Riches is an Indigenous-Canadian illustrator and certified scribbler from the Seneca Nation of the Six Nations of the Grand River based in Brantford, Ontario. Her biggest passion is creating colourful, quirky, and delightfully fun illustrations.
With a love for conjuring curiosity and inspiring imagination through her work, Sophie is interested in working on children’s publishing projects, editorial pieces, and anything and everything that lets her put her creativity to work. When she isn’t working or doodling away, you can find her organizing her miniature collection or playing with her cats.
Since graduating from Sheridan College with her Honours Bachelor of Illustration Degree (2026) and her Advanced Diploma in Visual and Creative Arts (2022), Sophie has worked with clients such as the Brantford Brant-Norfolk Ontario Health Team and the Ripple Foundation.
